NBA All-Star Game: Does Money Buy You Classic Style?

The NBA All-Star Game was this past weekend, where the leagues most elite players hit up Orlando, FL for the annual game. Does money buy you classic style? In short, no. Style is something anyone can have, no matter your bank account. Below are a few good and bad examples of how money can and can not buy you classic style.

Tristan Thompson: Personally I like the casual look of his outfit, the white t-shirt is simple but sets it off well. Fit is great which makes this work. My criticism, get rid of the Hermes "H" belt, it screams "look at my belt!"

Evan Turner: The best casual outfit (non-suit) of them all. Notice the fit of his clothing, not baggy, not too tight, nice and sleek dress shoes.

Kevin Durant: I want to like this one because it's Durant but I can't. The brown triangles on both front patch pockets just kills it for me. Sorry KD.

Chris Bosh: I'm iffy on this one, I like the color combination, tie bar is in the perfect place but I feel this would look so much better with the suit jacket.

Anthony Murrow: *sigh* WTF is this?! The shirt is terrible; too many things going on, painter jeans? Really?!

Dwayne Wade: Maybe it's the picture or the way he's turning but the jacket looks like it doesn't fit him properly in the midsection. In addition the huge flower on his right lapel and the overstated pocket square is just too much.

Dwayne Wade (again): This looks like the same suit as above and just proves my point. In addition the selection below the knees is terrible too. The socks would be great as accent piece if he didn't pick a blue suede buck with a green sole. Not one thing on his suit is green or blue.

Blake Griffin: Although it's difficult to see the fit of his suit in this picture since he's sitting down, this is a nice suit. Looks good!

Chris Bosh (again): probably the best out of the bunch. Bosh's double breasted jacket fits perfect. Although simple, pairing a gray jacket with black pants, white shirt and pocket square and black tie, sometimes the most simple combinations are the best.

CP3: Simply fold the pocket square into an actual square instead of just puffing out of your pocket and this would look a lot better.
