WDIW...Yesterday 3/24/13

Yesterday my beautiful wife and I went snow tubing up in Hunter Mountain. It was a hell of a lot of fun! Kept it simple and warm.

The weather in NY has been crazy, so staying warm was a priority. Wore tweed, shawl sweater and some nice warm suede shoes. It was also "Green Day" at work hence the green sweater and stripes in the shirt.

WDIWT...2/6/2013

Today I decided to go more the casual route to work while still keeping it dressed up. I originally was going to wear my brown corduroy pants with what I have on but the contrasting brown with the jacket and pants looked terrible. I simply switched to jeans as I think the combination of dark denim with a brown jacket looks great. I will say I'm not 100% sold on the look of the shawl sweater under the jacket.

In addition in our NikeTalk Dressing Better Thread, the challenge is wearing items in multiple ways, well this is way #2 of how to wear a 3-piece suit. This is the same jacket from Monday's entry here.

What Did I Wear Today...3/14/12

Took a quick snap shot of what I wore on Wednesday the 14th. Usually Wednesday's at work because it's the middle of the week and it's the day we see all our students (yes I'm a teacher) most of us straddle the line between dressy and casual at work. Usually we teach block scheduling so Wednesday's become our down days and review days with our kids. Nonetheless, this blog is about affordable style.
